Mary Shelley started writing the story when she was 18 and the novel was published when she was 20. The title of the novel refers to a scientist, Victor Frankenstein, who learns how to create life and creates a being in the likeness of man, but larger than average and more powerful.
The film begins when Capitan Robert Walton met Victor Frankenstein in the North Pole and he explained the story of the monster. Frankenstein learned from a professor how create a live.

Isabella Swan moves to Forks to live with her father. When she starts the high school, she becomes fascinated by Edward Cullen who hold a dark secret that only know his family. Edward falls in love with Bella and he warns Bella that she should leave him but she ignore him. One day, Bella found clues of his secret in a book. He is a vampire. Afterwards, she is not afraid of Edward and of he could kill her at any moment. Bella is afraid of losing him, the love of her life. The problems begins when a new vampire wants hunt Bella for her irresistible blood. Finally James, the hunter, dies in fire and Edward saves Bella from the poison of James.
